When mom arrived and said, “Cherrye” the lady didn’t want to give me up!)
2. Little House on the Prairie (which is when I told mom, at age 3, that I could be Laura Ingalls Wilder better than Melissa Gilbert)

So Cherrye, three questions:
1) Are there Mexican restaurants in Catanzaro (or anywhere in Italy)?
2) What will your book be about?
3) What is your connection with Red Couch?
(and a fourth - do you have a camera yet?)

It was fun, Erin - we could go to dinner sometime, huh?
J-Three answers
1) There is an urban legand going around about a mexican food rest near Catanzaro. Peppe and I drove out to try to find it (cause we couldnt find a phone number or website) and we couldnt find the restaurant, either! So, i dunno, but I cant bring myself to say ‘no’.
2) I wrote a childrens book about how Santa Claus was appointed his “job”. I need to edit it more but it is down on paper. I also wrote one about a little boy who moves to Italy with is aunt, inspired by Baby Cole, of course. It needs a lot of work, though.
3) A friend and I started RCC, Red Couch Communications, at the end of 2006. At this point, we do just about everything. We own the company, we design the activities and format the books, we market them, we create the customs, etc. She does the facilitating, since most people would rather pay someone to fly from Orlando than Catanzaro. I am waiting on that, though!
Fourth - I decided not to get the camera because of what you said (about not being in the pictures anymore)! Ha! Just Joking! I dont have the camera, but I have made a decision. I am buying the one I posted about - in silver! I was all about the pink one until I saw it in a store and it looked really cheap compared to the silver one. I plan to order it this week online, so I should have it (depending on Italian mail service) in a week or so.

Funny thing is that I already did this meme before you tagged me but I have not posted it. You must have seem my comment on Erin’s asking if I could do it?
Know-it-alls, that’s a good one.
Funny, I also chose Brady Bunch and Mexican, go figure?
I will post it today.

Wow,how did Calabria get so lucky with 2 beautiful, talented women such as you and Michelle from Bleeding espresso. I’m glad that the South is catching up with northern Italy. Too bad, that I haven’t seen any blogs from Sicily, but if you know anyone from that area, please encourage them to start.
I’m a Sicilian native and will finally be visiting there next month after a very long time.
Per favore, tell Michelle how much we all miss her postings. Have you heard how much longer will be before she has internet connection?
Whatcha thinking?
