Do You Drive Like a Girl or a Boy?
Due to the challenge of driving in Southern Italy, I feel this is a very pertinent post. I ranked as 42% male, 58% female.
“According to studies, you drive both like a guy and a girl. This means you’re a pretty average driver, with typical quirks.Occasionally you’re frustrated and or a little reckless, but that’s the exception - not the norm.”
What are you?

I’ve heard a lot of stories from our stranger friends here in italy about driving… is it really that much different from US/Canada?
We’ve got this “dangerous drivers” name that will make me go curious.

I haven’t driven in Canada, or in many parts of the US, but it is very different here than in Texas, Fl, or basically every place I have driven in the states. Here are a few examples:
1) In TX, when we see a stop sign, it means you really have to stop. In Southern Italy, when you see a stop sign, it means go faster!
2) In TX, we use the lanes as a guide for where we should keep our car. We don’t randomly float throughout these lanes and we don’t make our own lanes just because we are in a hurry.
3) The motercycles (scooters) use the same lanes the cars use. If cars are in traffic, motorcycles are in traffic.
4) We don’t honk the horn just because we are tired of waiting in traffic. We just sit there, eating our hamburgers and french fries and talking on our cell phones and wait! haha
On a positive note some things I have noticed about driving in Italy:
Everyone is a defensive driver, so people are watching at all times where they are going.
You get where you need to go a lot faster!
Feel free to add your own comments about this…

Thanks for answer.
I can’t say if it’s so different, i were once in Florida, but i didn’t notice big difference, except for turning right is allowed when the lightsignal is red. ^__^
Other things i’ve noticed is that you can pass other cars on the right, while in Italy you should pass them on the left.
Anyway, the only thing i don’t agree it’s about being defensive drivers: in Italy i only see aggressive drivers.
