Fun Activity
From a meme I found on another blog. The girl I stole this idea from didn’t know what a “meme” was and well, neither do I. But, it is a fun activity.
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open it to page 161.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence along with these instructions.
5. Don’t search around and look for the coolest book you can find. Grab a book that is close to you.
So, I grabbed “Life Lessons Learned While Shopping” by Amanda Ford…
and here we go…”I disregard advice about what religion I should be, about how I should relate to my husband, and how I should spend my free time.”

Ok! I did your challenge. I am an American who has lived here in Italy for a little over a year, and have been married to an Italian for a little over a year also. Here is my sentence (In Italian) and unfortunately I have no idea what it means. I took the first book I found in our computer room (Amazingly it is the bible in Italian!!!!) And here goes: “Inoltre, niente di quel che un uomo consacra al Signore in modo definitivo puo essere venduto o riscattato: si tratti di un esere umano, di un animale o anche di un campo ereditto.” Sorry everyone!!! I really have no idea what this says, but it is on page 161 and sentence five. Ciao a tutti! Amber

Oh no! I don’t speak Italian well enough to know what this means. I will have to ask Peppe in a little bit. Amber, if you get it translated, please post it for us, ok?
